I've been knitting with Wooly Worsted for over a year now, and I love this yarn so much it's a bit silly! In truth, I began knitting with Ewe Ewe yarns after becoming friends with Heather, but I would truthfully love this yarn even if we were not friends.
Wooly Worsted is a superwash worsted weight wool, and has a ton of bounce and squish, which makes for super soft projects. And it's honestly the perfect charity knitting yarn - it's 100% wool, but because it's superwash it can also be washed and dryed if you want, which means you can donate finished items from this yarn to just about ANY charity organization!!
With our focus on Syrian refugees this month, now is the time to dip your toes into wool if you're normally an acrylic knitter, like me. Wool is excellent at both keeping warmth in and keeping water out, so it's ideal for folks living in treacherous conditions, without ready access to shelter from the elements.
I'll be working my way through some of my Wooly Worsted this month, and would love for you to join me! Thankfully, Heather is now selling her yarn directly from the Ewe Ewe website, so you don't have to get out of your pajamas (just being honest) to get some into your stash!
(Note: This is not a sponsored post, but Heather of Ewe Ewe Yarns is one of the founders of MAKE GIVE REPEAT. As such, we are clearly biased and love this yarn!!)
